New York Book Week 2010
October 9, 2010, 8 am – 5 pm, Author, J. Paul Kousoulas and Illustrator, Bell Kousoulas, will be in Youngstown, Ohio at the Y-City Writers Conference, Coburn United Methodist Church on Maple Street. J. Paul will talk about our children’s book, “The Case of the Missing Egg,” and Bell will demonstrate the book with a flip-board or small power point presentation. ABOUT OUR BOOK AND PROMOTIONAL ITEMS Summary
The Case of The Missing Egg is a mystery book for children ages 4-8 years, English, 8.5x8.5 inches and 72 pages. This book is a light introduction to crime scene investigation; and, scattered throughout are learning tools "mouse tales" that describe various critter's behavior. The mystery story conveys critter friendship and concern for Gobbelegook the turkey's missing egg. Solving the mystery involves setting up a crime scene and team effort from the critters wearing whimsical, identity hats. Colorful illustrations lead the reader and viewer from a mysterious beginning to a happy ending. Binkley Custom Plush Toys designed Madame de le Odeur, a stuffed toy, for the Kousoulas couple; Madame plush toy measures 7 inches and she is safe for all ages. The children's book is English – 70 pages of words, illustrations and children activity pages.
