• All purchased items from The preserve at misty Meadows are made through this website or by telephone with proper payment and shipping and handling charges.  Shipments are made by the owners and become the carrier's responsibility to reach their destination in a timely and safe manner.

• The Preserve at Misty Meadows represents the author and illustrator of the book, "The Case of The Missing Egg," and other promotional items for this book.  Other books and promotional items, by the same author and illustrator, may become for sale on this site.  If your purchase is not as described and you are not satisfied, your remedy is to return the purchase in unused condition.  Defining "unused" condition:  Returned books will not be dog-eared or show continual use or dirty.  Books that are 'looked through' condition are acceptable. Plush toys will be in pristine shape upon return.  Note cards and Prints are not returnable unless damaged during shipment.  In other words, Do Not Use Products if you think the purchased products are not what you expected and return using the enclosed mailing label.

• If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us as soon as possible and your new order will be initiated.  The faulty item will be returned to The Preserve at Misty Meadows before the new order will be shipped.  We will pay the return shipping and handling fee.
• If your product is damaged in shipping, return the same box or envelope to us without opening the package.  Mark on the box or envelope, "Return to Sender."  A replacement will be shipped out when the product is received by us.  We will be responsible for the return shipping and handling fees.
• Returns (Unused Condition) that are mentioned in "Product Descriptions:"  Your amount paid, including shipping and handling and tax, if applicable, will be returned to you with the provision that the products have not been 'used.'

• Any book missing the barcode
• Gift Certificates
• Returns without our return mailing label (enclosed with each package)
• Any product that is $2.95 or less.

• The list price is displayed on products for sale.  Indicated State Tax, Shipping & Handling charges apply.
• We are keeping the products for sale on this website at reasonable fees.
• Pricing includes the author's and illustrator's signatures and a short message if requested.

• The Preserve at Misty Meadows is not liable for any human names given to the critter-cluster.
• All names were randomly chosen and not meant to defame any person, living or deceased.
• The Preserve at Misty Meadows is not liable for negligence of adults.  The book is made of quality materials as well as the plush toy.
• There are no added thingamabobs to dislodge and cause harm to any child or adult.
• The Madame, removable tattoos have labels with instructions, and any person who is allergic to adhesive such as found on band aids should not affix tattoos to their bodies.
